Why do people pick on loners?

Well, if you look different... not in a weird way but more of an intringing way... i suppose that just be their "cool" way of trying to get to know you. other than that, i won't like i was like that ***** girl in high school who would ask those questions, i realize it's totally stupid now and so should you..... it's a simple way to impress the people you are hanging out with and make them laugh and have something to talk about is all..... don't worry about it, and say the same to them.. unless you genuinely think they are just being friendly. as a matter of fact, that's exactly what you should do is be friendly and cool about it, then they'll realize they are picking on the wrong guy
