Why am I so forgetful?

I spent a half hour around my house today looking for my AP Calc book and it wasn't here. I remember I had the book last night to finish up some problem sets and I took the book to school even though the next time my AP Calc cl meets in Monday. I drove to school after searching my house, checked my locker and there it was. As hard as I try, I can't remember ever putting the book inside my locker. The biggest problem though, is how sometimes i'm so forgetful I forget to write things down so I won't forget them. If let's say i'm about to write my homework ignment down and someone comes in and says "Hey Jim" or "What's up Jim?". I usually forget completely what I was doing before I was slightly interrupted and I wouldn't realize i'd forgotten something until it's too late.

I have just been going through on Y/A doing some reading on baby's with colic (i'm 30 weeks pregnant and doing my learning about when the baby gets here) and i read 1 answer that said they put gripe water in the baby's milk weather it has wind or not. I think it sounds abit iffy? I'm not sure on that at all but i can see it's a good idea if you have a colic baby, prevent the crying before it happens i guess. I have a few questions about milk/pumping help...?

The first issue you need to get solved with your baby is his latching. If he's latching once in a while then he can latch all the time. Your baby is getting used to the formula and it's making it easier for him to eat. It sounds like you are doing everything right as far as the latch so just keep at it. What does he do when he's not latching properly? I myself have nursed my 3 boys with very large sized . I am a plus size mom and I found it so difficult to nurse with my breats but I managed it. With my last boy I struggled to get his mouth on my nipple but we did it. I had to stop for medical reasons and switched him to formula. I think you need to wean him off the formula in order for him to try to get his food from you. Having a bottle given to him is so easy and he's perfering that instead of working for it. It's like say a tiger in the jungle was thrown his food all the time from the locals. He's not going to want to hunt anymore. He's going to become lazy and wait for his food. Now that's what developing with your son. Also, when are you pumping? Right after a feed, before a feed? How many times a day does he nurse? A pump can never get the same amount of milk out as does a baby. The sucking action is just not the same as a baby's mouth. One other thing to look at with your baby, make sure he's not tongue tied. My first boy was tongue tied but he had no problem nursing though. My dr said that if a baby is tongue tied they may not get a good latch. Just google it and you will see what I am talking about. But I beleive if you concentrate on the latching and stop the formula you will have no problem. It's going to take work though from you and not going to be easy. Once you get more nursing sessions in your milk is going to come in well. Don't go by the pump amount okay.

I really do not want to ask them. One of them may become too angry (she has anger problems) and the other one is pretty fragile. More TSA Job Questions?

This is a follow-up question to one I asked a few weeks ago. I applied for a TSA Screener job and took and ped the computer test, submitted the back ground check forms and got a call from my local airport. The airport guy said that he only had weekdays open for interviews. I only have weekends free for interviews, at least for the next few weeks. I told him this and he said he will call me back when they are done with the “survey” (what ever that is) and get back to me about a weekend interview. My new question is… how can I contact the TSA office at my airport to tell them I am still interested and can do a weekday interview in a few weeks? The airport will only give me the number for the main TSA office back east someplace. Did I screw my self by saying I can only do weekend interviews? Will they call back? Soon? I just beat the bone boss and there is that jump that the only way i know how to get across is by jumping and then using the sword dash in midair to get over to the ledge. Differing parenting techniques causing rift between girlfriend and i?

I had my daughter when i was 16 but i was lucky that i had a great support system at home. My daughter was brought up in a very liberal household. Now that she is approaching the same age i was when i had her, my girlfriend has become very possessive of her. She never says it but i know that she looks down on me for having her so young. They're both very close and my daughter respects her a lot, however my girlfriends parenting technique is in direct opposition to mine. My daughter can go wherever she wants as long as she is back by 8pm on a school night and usually 10pm on weekends. She usually tells me where she is, but i'm not prepared to guarantee anything as she is young and neither she nor i are perfect. I want my girlfriend to give her a break. Dog dribbles pee in house?

My 6 year old Chessie has been dribbling urine after she comes back in the house on and off for a couple years now. I've had her to the vet and she has been put on antibiotics in the past but now it's back again. What can cause this dripping of urine? During my visit last week to the vet he ran a blood test and took X-rays as she's also stopped jumping up into my truck and car. The X-rays showed arthritis in her lower back between two vertabre. My question is can the urine thing cause pain when moving around or jumping up? She's a very active sporting dog and just recieved her JH title in late Sept.as well as completed another waterfowl season last month which required alot of running and swimming at which time she she showed no signs of pain. Looking back now she stopped jumping up on our bed at night she would climb up instead.One other note, when the dribbling pee thing is happening she's nervous and follows me around like she doesn't know whats going on. My dog is 65 lbs. and in superb condition. Should I take her for another opinion or give it a little more time? I started her on Synflex about a week ago nad she had improved a great deal till the other night when she did jump up on the bed and let out a whimper, then she got all nervous and slowed down a great deal. No, they only take it off your income support or job seekers allowance but they will want to know exactly how much you have each week from tax credits etc to work out how much they will deduct - can I suggest you ask for a lot more than you need as they don't give you as much as you ask for, have you considered a Community Care Grant as you do not pay anything back, if you need an important item like a cooker or a heater etc, (don't ask for a washing machine or drier or bed as they wont give it,) you can apply for it but there is a section that you have to explain why you need this grant, your story must be very good to get it and again double the amount as you wont get as much as you ask for. They p right to side control during the take down, how do I do this? Another thing I want to learn is when my opponent is in full guard I try to kick him off after about the 2nd or 3rd try right after I finish trying to kick them off they p right into side control. Coarse Fur?

My cat is about 3 years old, and he's my baby, I love him so much. I just moved into a new house in March...and I've changed the food from Special Kitty (Due to the scare from them) to Purina One:Chicken and Rice Flavor. He was a stray that I found in the trailer park as a kitten, and his fur has always been somewhat mangey, but once we moved and he had a food change his fur became nice and soft and shiney. But about a month or 2 ago his fur became coarse and seems to be...overly thin (he's been shedding alot too). Is it maybe the cat food? Next, are you on a post-op antibiotic...you should be. Now, go to the drug store and purchase the over the counter product called "OraJel"...it will give you a good deal of discomfort relief when applied over the extraction sites.....If the discomfort isn't all but gone in two day's you need to be back in the DDS office asking why?? If you have a difficult situation it's nearly impossible to tell you how to deal with it unless you can provide detailed information, drawings or pictures. But I can tell you how to approach it. The weight of the unit needs to be carried on the bottom of the window opening, a sill or something like that. Then the air conditioner usually hangs out of the window, which means there has to be a board across the top of the unit that bears on the inside of the window. I made two boxes like that, and it takes care of my little house. I can put a box in a window, it has the air conditioner shell screwed into it, and then I slide the mechanicals into it. Weight alone holds it in place. I cut a piece of insulation board to pop in each side.

I have never been to a psychiatrist but was reading a little on OCD. Here are some examples of some "odd" things I do: I oganize clothes in my closet by color, long sleeve to short sleeve, with or without collars, even the hangers have to be plastic and in the same shape. I lysol my trash can. I stack my canned veggies in perfect order accross my pantry. My dishes are cleaned before they go into the dishwasher, then organized (forks with forks, plates lined neatly). In the supermarket, I organize my groceries BEFORE paying for them. From the time I was a child, if I wrote a letter or paper in pencil- and my handwriting was anything other than perfect, if I couldn't erase it (only white erasers would come close, no eraser marks either!), I would rip up the paper , start over, even if I was on the last line of the page. If my house is not clean, I feel like I can't do ANYTHING else until it is, even to watch TV. Does anyone else have this issue?

I can't still walk after 3 months from ACL reconstruction. Can I gain back normal knee movements?

I am 17. After a car accident, I torn my ACL and PCL badly. The doctor did ACL surgery and plastered my knee for 45 days afterwards. My knee is very stiff and I can't bend it. The physical therapist believes that it has to be bent under general anesthesia. But I don't want that. Does anybody know if it's possible to have it bent through mere physical therapy? The doctor believes that after, the knee bends, I need a PCL surgery too. Can anybody tell me if I can ever regain my complete knee movement back?

Antibodies in my blood during pregnancy?

I am now 13 weeks pregnant, when I was about 8 weeks pregnant the doctor had to take alot of blood to see if antibodies in my blood matched up. Him and my own personal doctor asked if I had ever had any blood transfusions before and I haven't. They did send it back to a lab and the antibody was unknown. I have been bleeding for a couple days, very light, not even enough to fill a pad. I have some minor cramping that feels like premenstral cramps. Yesterday I went to the ER, the cervix is totally closed, and on a sonogram they found the baby with a heartbeat! The OB said she felt positive about the outcome, while the ER doctor was still concerned. I go in tomorrow for blood test to see if the hormone levels are rising. I am terrified right now. Everytime I go to the bathroom I scrutinize the small amount of blood. Is it changing from pink to red? Is there more? Is that a clot? I am going crazy with these questions. I know I can't do anything to stop a miscarriage, but I would love to know if anyone went through this and the outcome was positive. Thanks.

Restoring an old oak table?

I have just bought an old oak table. I guess it could be 40 years old or so. It is quite scratched (surface scratches) and has one or two deeper small imperfections, like the wood has been slightly dug out. There is also a small hole like it has been drilled. It is also a bit rough on the edges... It has a nice wood pattern and I want to restore it back to its former glory. I suppose I need to use some kind of wood paste/filler to fill the imperfections/hole, then sand down the surface until most of the scratches are out, then use some kind of varnish etc. Is this how I should do it? Any tips on how to go about this job/what to use etc?

I had my ultrasound at 18 weeks and 2 days and the ultrasound tech saw a at three different points of the ultrasound, thus giving her the conclusion its a boy. Well when I told that to my mother she said it could still be a girl and it could just be the umbilical cord between her legs. The thing is the ultrasound tech actually went the extra mile and determined what was umbilical cord and what was baby and she said she could still see a kick stand. K so there are 2 serial killer out in AZ and recently the serial shooter has been attacking here in Mesa, AZ. The other day it was late night past 11pm and I was going to Wendy's but decided not to, so I made a u turn there in the parking lot when I noticed a silver car tinted windows park backwards not infront of Wendy's but towards more in the middle of a Denny's and Wendy's. Denny's is open but has a seperate parking which had open spaces and next to that parking there is an enterance to the plaza which all parking kinda meshes and then there is more parking and then Wendy's. If you know what country and school you want to attend... then call that school and see what you will need to be able to go there. You may need something similar to a work visa to go... but in most cases, you can study in any Country. Good luck hun... start with your local schools... then go from there!!!!

Am I over reacting or is this reasonable?

I am 5 months pregnant and my boyfriend and I got pregnant while on birth control so it was deff a surprise. He wants me to move into the house but I agreed only if he fixes up the house (it was a bachelor pad for many years with pet urine/poo carpet along with other issues). He is slowly starting to fix up the house but his dogs are driving me nuts. They are not well mannered (getting on the furniture) and still poo in the house! When I try to disapline them he says "Dont talk to my dog like that" BUT I cant even have my cat there b/c he thinks he would be too mean to the dogs. He has 5 junker cars that I would not put a baby in and he is not willing to get rid of a few to get a nice car but he wants me to get rid of my mustang for an SUV. I feel like my life is being controlled by him and it is partially my fault for letting him for so long. But the longer we are together the less I want to be with him. Most recently he seems to be hanging out with his friends a lot, which normally would be fine but I always get the short end of the stick! For example today I am sick and didnt go to work. And he had made plans to see a friend for a few hours which I respected and didnt care...but I got to the point I could not get my temp down and almost went to the hospital and could not get ahold of him. Im starting to feel like this is more hle than its worth. Everything I do I could do on my own. He doesnt have health insurance so I dont have to stay b/c of that and my parents are more than willing to let me stay at their house. He is excited to be a dad, but I think he has no idea how to be a good boyfriend.

If you planned to go with the Youth Group and you still would like to go to the retreat, then go on your own. You don't HAVE to go WITH her do you? You can go on your own and just meet her and laylay there. As it's a group you used to belong to there will be other people attending who you already know and I'm sure they will be pleased to see you and find out how you are getting along so you could hang out with them instead if BF and LL give you the cold shoulder.. Just because your ex best friend has made a new friend of this laylay girl, it doesn't mean that you can't be friends with her too or that you have to follow them around like a little dog. It doesn't mean that you can't have any other friends either. You've moved away and you have both moved on. Don't be unfriendly with the pair of them or expect bad things from them - just be your usual self - but be independent and make other friends while you are there. You are concentrating too much on this one girl who used to be your very best friend. Sadly, she sounds rather childish to me if she's blaming you for moving away when you had no control over that situation so I think you'd have probably outgrown her by now anyway even if you hadn't moved away. Just be pleased to see them both when you meet up again and be pleased to meet all the other girls too. If you are open and friendly with people, they will want to make friends with you. If your ex and her new g/f want to remain aloof, just accept it. Don't show that you are upset about it. Just carry on as normal. If anyone is going to look stupid it will be them because you'll be the most popular girl at the retreat. Enjoy yourself.

I definatly think euthanasia is acceptable for animals. That does seem like a very high dosage for such a small dog though...I would be a little suspicious of that. The animal should stop breathing almost immediately after the euthasol is injected, not last that long after injection.

Can this cause colic in horses?

When I was turning my horse out tonight I didn't notice that somebody had put sweet feed in his bucket in the run-in, he got to it and ate most of it (I think probably a litre) before I could give him his usual feed (beet pulp and pellets). Could this cause colic? He also was just worked half an hour before but was cooled off enough to have his dinner. I'm just worried because it isn't my barn so I can't go out in the middle of the night to check on him.

You've either ripped or scratched your cornea. Well if you dont have time to go to the optemistrist, or ER, then I'd suggest taking pain medicine like Tyenol/Motrin/ETC. Taking a cold rag inserting it on the eye, and half way in the eye , and then lay down. Install switch into car to kill the amp.?

I am trying to install a switch for my amp but I have a problem. I cut the REM wire from the back of stereo deck and ran it to the + pole on switch, I then took the REM from the amp side and connected to the ground on switch. The amp will not turn off when I kill the (turn off) amp, the led on the switch comes on but it won't kill amp. Now, should there be a ground to the switch?

I've had a problem with Outlook 2007 crashing when I close it down recently and I sent an error report and now some strange new process called deobuuk.exe has been using up a lot of processing time in Task Manager. About that first draft?

Whoever told you to write crap or as much as you can for the first draft has got it wrong. Write what you feel as you feel it but don't edit it until it is finished. Then print it off and read it out loud to yourself and edit it then as you go along using a biro on the page. Don't try to read and edit it from a screen because you could end up reading what you think you have written rather than what you have actually written (I know that sounds illogical but it is a fact) When you have done that get someone else to read it (My brother always read my novels and short stories) and ask them to highlight any errors that you may have missed. Don't think you have to hurry the work either unless you are on a deadline, because hurrying anything usually leads to mistakes which means more time in editing and for me that is the worst part of writing a novel. Most of all though is that you have to do whatever you are comfortable with whatever anyone else might say. Good luck with your story and with your writing.
