Birth control: how can i prevent ovulation?

There is no way to stop ovulation completely. Because of your beliefs the only thing you can try is condoms or abstinence I'm sorry to say. And on birth control you aren't actually fertilizing an egg. You are producing an egg, but the egg is unable to become fertilized by the sperm. But I understand your thought process.
