Why are vomit inducing, aggressive and ruthless people so respected in our society?

Growing up in New York and now living in L.A. I can say I stay clear of the self absorbed egomaniacs you described. Yeah they are out there and they will always find people who will kiss their @ss! My advise would be to stay true to yourself and those people will know to stay clear of you because you will not co sign their bull sh1t!
