I adore the man I am with right now, but he is so quiet about his life at home, is he hiding stuff from me?

I have a relationship with a man I met on the net, he lives 2/3 hours away from me. We see each other at weekends. He comes to my place. I have never been to his altho have seen his son on webcam. He works, so do I, so we don't have a lot of spare time. But he never tells me anything about his life at home. Its all superficial stuff, nothing in detail or something where I can say to myself 'yeah, I've heard that guys/girls name before'. When I ask he just says theres not much to tell, he lives a life of work, home, raising his child... just like me. We are close emotionally and he's into my 'psychi' bit, reuring and kind and talks about his feelings for me in a positive manner, but I feel stunted and 'in the dark' but at the same time I don't want to appear nosey or paranoic about what he does when he's living his week out. We've been seeing each other at weekends now for about 5 months.He is quiet natured and I don't think a manipulative type to hide another side of him.
