Putting colic remedy's in baby's milk ready when they feed? ?

I have just been going through on Y/A doing some reading on baby's with colic (i'm 30 weeks pregnant and doing my learning about when the baby gets here) and i read 1 answer that said they put gripe water in the baby's milk weather it has wind or not. I think it sounds abit iffy? I'm not sure on that at all but i can see it's a good idea if you have a colic baby, prevent the crying before it happens i guess. But i was on the understanding you give gripe water or infocol ect with a syringe straight from the bottle IF they are crying with colic and not before?
